About This Plan

This Log frame house plan is an ideal fit for a mountain top or lakefront property lot with its amazing outdoor space and window views. The exterior is a beautiful blend of rough-hewn log beams, overhead window dormers, exposed beams and large vertical window inserts. The interior space features approximately 2,616 square feet of living space on two floors which includes three bedrooms and two baths. Additionally, the home is situated on an unfinished basement foundation which adds another 841 square feet of living space to the home’s interior and could be utilized as casual entertaining space, an increase in the number of bedrooms and/or multi-purpose rooms for the family’s hobbies and crafts. The front covered entry porch leads into the home’s reading room/library where a large assortment of books will be highly coveted on those rain filled days or as a supplement to relaxing on the outdoor deck. There is also an adjacent mudroom for the family storage of back packs, outer wear and other assorted household items to reside without tracking them into the homes interior. The gallery hallway houses the staircase to the second floor and beyond that is the massive great room where a wood stove, outdoor access and those beautiful windows are showcased. The outdoor deck wraps around the home nicely and features a large amount of outdoor space to relax and entertain on. The great room is open to the spacious dining room where special occasion and holiday meals can be enjoyed in comfort and style. The grand kitchen sits just beyond the dining room and is highlighted with a large center island with additional seating options, a huge walk-in pantry and plenty of cabinet and counter space.

There are two secondary bedrooms on the main floor as well as a shared hall bath. Bedroom two features good floor space and closet space while the third bedroom is slightly larger with plentiful closet space. The shared hall bathroom features an oversized vanity, a toilet area and a tub/shower combination. The second floor is wholly devoted to the master suite and offers amazing space and amenities. There is an open loft overlooking the great room and the master bedroom is quite spacious. There are his and hers walk-in closets on either side of the hallway leading to the elegant master bath which is highlighted with dual vanities, a private toilet area, a separate shower and a whirlpool tub. This rustic home design offers delightful design elements on the both the exterior and interior and the unfinished basement foundation is an added bonus for expansion.
