About This Plan

This lovely Craftsman house plan is highlighted with organic design elements and a modest footprint perfect for a small family, young professionals or empty-nesters. The exterior is composed of a stone accent wall and front stone perimeter skirt, cedar shakes, exposed rafters and board and batten. Great window views, modern window casings and warm gables add considerable charm and character to the home’s facade. The interior layout offers approximately 629 square feet of living space that incorporates two bedrooms and one bath in the single story home. Perfect for a narrow and/or small property lot, the plan’s width and depth dimensions are 24’ and 28’ respectively. Nine foot ceiling heights are featured in the home’s interior footprint allowing the home a sense of spaciousness and volume. The front covered porch leads into the entry foyer where an open floor plan is revealed. There is a large living area with picturesque window views and the subsequent dining space and kitchen are located directly beyond the living room. The kitchen features a single window sink view, plenty of cabinet and counter space and space for casual dining along with rear access onto the yard.

The front bedroom features double window views and good floor space, perfect for young children or overnight guests. Conversely, the room could be used as a home office or studio for a professional couple. The rear bedroom is slightly larger with double window views as well and offers private access into the shared hall bath. There is a vanity area, a toilet area and a large tub/shower combination.
