About This Plan

This Country house plan is the perfect place to return home to after a day of exploring the outdoors, whether hiking, hunting or spending the day fishing. The compact, approximate 384 square feet of living space cottage is fully functional with a living and dining space, a kitchen and sleeping and bathing quarters as well. The exterior façade of the home is attractive with a pier foundation, a front porch featuring open railing and a scalloped trimmed gable with exposed rafters. The width and depth dimensions are perfect for a narrow and/or small lot with its 16’w and 24’d solidifying its use as a weekend getaway cottage or a sportsman’s getaway. Entering the home off the front porch, is a combination living and dining space with a directly accessible, functional kitchen that is airy and sunny. Great window views and a wood burning stove complement the living space keeping it cozy and bright simultaneously. The rear of the home features a bedroom; measuring 15’x8’ where a series of bunk beds and/or single or double beds could comfortably be configured for the room’s sleeping space. The bathroom features a large vanity, toilet area and a shower for ease clean-up after the day’s adventures. This small home is the perfect house design for nature lovers, small families or a group of like-minded individuals who enjoy getting back to “Mother Nature” in all her splendor.
