What's not included: House plans do not typically include mechanical, plumbing, or truss drawings. Additionally, some jurisdictions require a local architect or engineer to make adjustments to the plan to comply with local building codes. We advise you to check with your local building department regarding codes. For more information, visit the What's Included in Our Plans page.
This one story house design is reminiscent of a mid-century modern home. Organic architecture, clean simplicity and integration with nature are outlined in the home. There are stacked stone, cantilevered roof overhangs and a courtyard front entrance highlighted on the exterior of the home. The interior floor plan features approximately 2,818 square feet of living space which includes three to four bedrooms, two bathrooms and an additional two car garage in excess of 460 square feet. The courtyard entrance is highlighted by stone walls, a bench area and flanked on one side by the glass infused living room wall. There is French door access off the courtyard into the living room where you will find a large space with a corner fireplace and a step up into the dining room. Room definition is enhanced by the hall wall separating the living and dining spaces. The gourmet kitchen features an elongated center island with maximum seating options and the back and side walls are loaded with modern amenities. The enormous family room, measuring in excess of 15’x22’, is situated on the opposite courtyard glass wall and, yet it is a cozy and private family space. The two car garage leads to the interior laundry room which is spacious and contains a sink area and counter space. A central hallway spans the length of the home and houses an abundance of coat and storage closets. At the rear of the home are the family sleeping quarters and baths. There is a flex space which could be used as an office or fourth bedroom. Bedroom two and three are spacious with generous closet space and there is a shared hall bath with double vanities. The master suite sits at the rear corner of the home for privacy and features a large bedroom with double closet space. The open bathroom is highlighted by dual vanities, a toilet area and oversized shower. This is a fantastically designed home with a functional floor plan and an exterior façade which is crisp and clean.
