What's not included: House plans do not typically include mechanical, plumbing, or truss drawings. Additionally, some jurisdictions require a local architect or engineer to make adjustments to the plan to comply with local building codes. We advise you to check with your local building department regarding codes. For more information, visit the What's Included in Our Plans page.
The front porch on this Mountain House Plan is a fantastic entry point into the home. It spans the entire width of the home, is vaulted with an overhead open gable, substantial columns and symmetrically placed windows and doors; it is simply stunning and a great spot to greet and relax with family and friends before entering the home’s interior. The interior features an open floor plan with approximately 1,500 square feet of living space with two bedrooms and two baths. The plan is drawn on a walk-out basement for additional living space if needed but, of course, there are alternative foundation options as well.
The main level interior is highlighted with a generous open floor plan with vaulted ceilings front to back and intersecting beams for a warm and comfortable feel. The great room features a warming fireplace and the breakfast area offers French door access onto the covered rear porch. Adjacent to the rear porch is a screened porch and wrapping around the corner is an open deck; a plethora of outdoor spaces to entertain, relax and host cook-outs. Off the kitchen is a hallway to the pantry, a coat rack and the laundry room which also leads outside for great interior maintenance. The split bedrooms are located on either side of the family spaces with bedroom two boasting of generous floor space, ample closet space and a nearby full bath with a tub/shower combination. The owner’s retreat offers an equivalent bedroom size and private access onto the screened porch. There is also an attached walk-in closet and an elegantly appointed en suite bath which features a linen closet, dual vanities, a separate water closet, a freestanding tub and a corner shower. This beautifully designed Mountain house plan boasts of fantastic outdoor space, a practical and generously proportioned interior and a walk-out basement foundation for future needs.
