What's not included: House plans do not typically include mechanical, plumbing, or truss drawings. Additionally, some jurisdictions require a local architect or engineer to make adjustments to the plan to comply with local building codes. Cedar shakes, board and batten along with stacked stone are rustic elements designed for this Mountain house plan. The combination and juxtaposition of these architectural design features create a warm and inviting exterior façade that beckons to family and friends alike. A covered front porch highlighted with tapered stack stone supporting columned beams further enhances the architectural style and warmth of the home. An exciting and easily navigable interior floor plan focuses on wide open living spaces and plenty of private family space that includes 1,900 square feet of usable living space consisting of three bedrooms and two baths. The greeting foyer houses the second story staircase and extends into the oversized great room that features a handsome fireplace and rear access to the deck. This is no ordinary deck but one of substance that spans the entire width of the home and subsequently wraps around the side. Three distinct deck spaces span the distance around the house culminating onto the outdoor covered porch; great for relaxing and dining alfresco, this space is valued for its proximity to nature. The interior dining space is a large space, perfect for a farmhouse table and provides access onto the porch. There is a large U-shaped kitchen which continues to open up the space with side and back walls holding loads of counter and cabinet space along with modern conveniences. A large laundry/mudroom features plenty of counter space and there is a detached two car garage with ample space for vehicle and other gear storage. The main level master suite combines form and function beautifully; the master bedroom enjoys a large footprint, provides private access onto the rear deck and has a warming fireplace for chilly autumn mornings and evenings. Double closets line the wall space and the en suite master bath features dual vanities, a linen closet, toilet area and a tub/shower combination.
Upstairs are two bedrooms, a bath and a balcony overlook onto the great room below. Bedroom two is spacious with generous closet space while the third bedroom is clearly larger and contains generous closet space as well. There is a shared hall bath with vanity space, a toilet area and a tub/shower combination. This home is ideally suited for a mountain property or lakefront lot as it features outstanding outdoor space designed for viewing pleasure and a floor plan featuring great entertaining and private family space.
