What's Included in these plans?

• Cover Sheet - will include a front view of the home, along with general floor plans, and an index of the included pages.
• Foundation Plan - will show the location of the exterior foundation walls, along with the dimensions. Due to the unique structural requirements in different locations, we cannot provide calculations needed for sizing members from snow, wind, and seismic loads. A licensed engineer in your area may be required to provide additional layouts and specifications.
• Floor Plans - locate all walls, interior and exterior, of the entire building, denote ceiling heights and treatments, locate all plumbing fixtures, cabinets, door and window locations and sizes, gives square footage measurements.
• Dimension Plans - The dimension plans provide measurements for locating walls, windows, and exterior doors on the floor plans. 

• Exterior Elevations - The exterior elevations are used to depict the exterior finishes (brick, siding, stucco, etc.), roof styles (hip or gable) and slopes, ridge heights, and window styles, and overhang lengths. The exterior elevations include a front, right, rear, and left elevation.
• Building Sections - describe to the builder how a particular home is to be constructed.  Building sections typically show ceiling heights and treatments, truss or stick framing recommendations, or other unique features to help give more detail. 
• Roof Plan - depicts the roof type, plate heights and roof slope of each plane.
• Electrical Plan - depicts the general location of all interior and exterior electrical devices. This generally includes light switches, electrical outlets, ceiling fixtures, and smoke detectors.
