About This Plan

This strongly designed Barndominium house plan features a bold exterior and plenty of covered space to greet family and friends, entertain or relax in comfortable surroundings. The wraparound covered porch offers an abundance of outdoor space and multiple entry and exit points into the home’s interior. There is an oversized attached garage with double bays which features approximately 1,150 square feet of space for vehicles, a workshop, storage, or any type of hobby desired. Two bedrooms and two plus baths are found on the interior of the plan for simple living.


The main floor features 1,080 square feet of space which includes living and dining spaces along with the primary bedroom and bath. The 2-storied living room is a great space for entertaining and family time with it’s corner warming fireplace and openness to the kitchen. The kitchen features a center island and there is plenty of cabinet and counter space. A powder room for guests is located nearby and the mudroom offers cubby space and access to the garage as well as entry into the laundry room. The primary suite features a spacious bedroom with private access to the porch, an attached walk-in closet and an ensuite bathroom. The second floor features approximately 569 square feet of space with an additional bedroom for privacy that includes good closet space. The adjacent loft is quite large and would be perfect for a home office, playroom, or a spot for older children to entertain and watch movies or play games. The second bathroom features double sinks, a toilet area and a tub/shower combination. This Barndominium design is perfect for a small family, young professionals or empty nesters.
