About This Plan

Dripping with sophistication and style, this French Country house plan delivers four bedrooms and three-plus bathrooms in a single-story layout. The design details a charming French Country exterior with a symmetrical countenance, a hipped roof with pitched gables on the opposite ends, and beautiful tall windows. There is also a welcoming front covered stoop, making for a glamorous entryway to greet family, friends, and neighbors. As you circle around to the rear porch, you’ll notice it is sectioned with a screened-in section between the two covered sections. The screened-in portion of the porch delivers a wood-burning fireplace, space for lounging, and a cathedral ceiling. The outer portions offer an outdoor kitchen and plenty of space for dining and relaxing. As the two-car garage completes the exterior, it details a side-entry, a bump-out storage area, and a pedestrian door leading to a small side porch. Entrance from the garage into the home’s interior lands straight into the mudroom where a guest powder room and access to the laundry room is found.

The front entrance opens directly into the centrally located dining area. The 12-foot ceiling greets you with exposed beams and open views of the living room and kitchen through the wood beam on brick entryways. This open layout creates a large entertaining area encouraging family engagement and helps parents keep an eye on young ones. The central location of the dining area allows for a long family table to deliver ample space to dine with family and friends for any and all occasions. The living room is warmed by a handsome fireplace with flanking built-in shelving. The room itself is brightened by windows on either side of the room while the kitchen also enjoys extra window views. The large kitchen is equally enjoyable as a family-centered gathering place. Think of all the memories you’ll create in this kitchen as it highlights a gorgeous center island with an eating bar, window views over the sink, plenty of countertop space, and a corner walk-in pantry.

Behind the kitchen lies the hallway leading to the master bedroom. This suite enjoys the privacy of a corner location and delivers a spacious room with a 10-foot ceiling, a 5-fixture bathroom, and a grand master closet with an island. The master closet conveniently grants access to the laundry room where there is ample countertop space for folding clothes. On the opposite side of the home, there are three secondary bedrooms and two bathrooms. With approximately 2,765 square feet of living space, this French Country house plan delivers four bedrooms and three-plus bathrooms in an open floor layout.
