What's not included: House plans do not typically include mechanical, plumbing, or truss drawings. Additionally, some jurisdictions require a local architect or engineer to make adjustments to the plan to comply with local building codes. We advise you to check with your local building department regarding codes. For more information, visit the What's Included in Our Plans page.
This Country house plan is for those who love entertaining, outdoor living spaces, and grand two-story ceilings. With approximately 4,469 square feet in the home’s interior, this Country house plan features a ton of conveniences and luxuries with a possible basement foundation adding approximately 1,788 square feet to the overall square footage. The exterior highlights two covered porches spanning a majority of the home’s width, dormer windows, a side porch, and a three-car side entry garage.
Upon the front entry, the two-story foyer is flanked by an office with a coffered ceiling and built-in shelving and an open dining room with a tray ceiling and decorative columns. Both rooms offer access to the front covered porch through double doors. Past the coat closet and the second-story staircase, the two-story great room draws in tons of natural light from the second-story windows and the double doors leading out to the rear porch, flanking the fireplace. The open floor concept creates a welcoming flow from the great room to the kitchen and breakfast nook. The home chef will enjoy spending time in this kitchen with the surplus amount of cabinetry storage and countertop space with a center island, a walk-in pantry, and a pocket office tucked in the corner next to the half bathroom. The main floor master and laundry room complete the first floor. The laundry room hosts a great amount of space to not only store dirty clothes, but also to fold clean clothes, wash stains in the sink, and still have room for additional storage space. The master bedroom features a tray ceiling, a fireplace, access to the rear porch, and an en suite complete with separate dual vanities, a shower, a soaking tub, and a walk-in closet.
The second story houses the secondary bedrooms with two full bathrooms and unfinished storage space. Each bedroom features walk-in closets and access to computer nooks. The basement hosts unfinished spaces for social gatherings, an exercise room, a wet bar, and an in-law suite with a personal sauna.
