Generous interior and exterior proportions are found in this lovely Country house plan. The front covered porch is deep set offering plenty of space to relax, visit with neighbors and greet family and friends as they enter the home. Additionally, clean lines accent the home and the stone chimney features adds visual interest and a focal point. The multiple gables are lined with exposed rafters and wide eaves which blend beautifully with the remainder of the exterior. The interior of the home features compelling space and an abundance of room to entertain; there are approximately 2,570 square feet of usable living space with five bedrooms and three baths. The two car garage is side loading and positioned at the rear of the home for unobstructed sight lines and the home design is a perfect match for a narrow lot with its 40’ width dimension. The front covered porch features triple entry/exit points into the living room; there are a set of double French doors and the main foyer entrance. The living room is spacious with a warming fireplace and columned beams separate the space between the living and dining rooms. Again, the dining room is great space and features the added elegance of a large bay window before opening onto the kitchen where there is a tremendous sized peninsula bar, plenty of counter/cabinet space and a separate pantry. There is an oversized laundry room directly off the garage and two bedrooms as well which could be utilized as guest rooms, a craft/hobby room or a home office. Nearby is a full bath and a hall linen closet. The master suite is situated on this floor and is highlighted with great floor space and a “bump out” surrounded by window views. There is an attached master walk-in closet and an en suite bath featuring a corner garden tub, a separate shower, dual vanities and a compartmentalized toilet.
Upstairs, are two family styled bedrooms and a shared bath with an extended vanity area. Between the two bedrooms is an enormous bonus space measuring in excess of 15’x23’. This would make a great teen-age lounge where young people could gather to “hang out” or watch movies. The entire second floor could function as a self-contained suite whether for older children or as a private in-law suite. This beautiful home has a functional and versatile floor plan and an exterior that is utterly delightful.
