About This Plan

This one story Country house plan is a traditional American home; solidly styled with a functional and efficient floor that offers plenty of room for a small family, young professionals or empty nesters. The design details of the home’s exterior are decidedly country in form and function with an extensive front covered porch which spans the width of the home and is highlighted with open railing and columned beams. The ideal spot to greet and gather with family, friends and neighbors, the home’s exterior is charming and attractive. There are two bedrooms and one bath in the single story home and the home’s renderings include 33’width and 36’depth dimensions, perfect for a small and/or narrow property lot. The 6’ wide front covered porch leads into the living and dining space which features extensive floor space measuring approximately 20’x14’. The U-shaped kitchen is highlighted with a peninsula bar which allows for snacking and easy conversation between the hosts and guests. There is a separate pantry as well and an enormous rear laundry room that is enclosed for noise control and convenience. Two spacious bedrooms of equivalent size are situated off the main hallway and feature generous closet space and wonderful window views. The bathroom offers a linen closet, large vanity space, a toilet area and a tub/shower combination.
