About This Plan

This Cottage styled home offers an array of aesthetically pleasing architectural design features combining charm and character. The simple gabled roof with double window dormers highlighted with window boxes along with an expansive front covered porch featuring open railing and exposed rafters create a visually interesting and welcoming exterior façade. The interior floor plan captures the essence of cottage styling and incorporates two bedrooms and two baths into the approximate 1,400 square feet of living space. The 1.5 storied home is ideally proportioned for a narrow and/or small lot with its 32’ width and 42’ depth dimensions. Stepping off the front covered porch into the home’s open concept living plan reveals an abundance of entertaining and family relaxing space. The great room features a cavernous space with soaring ceiling heights, a handsome fireplace and built-in cabinetry. The adjoining dining room enjoys wonderful window views and opens onto the family friendly kitchen. The kitchen displays casual dining space with a wraparound breakfast/snack bar, loads of additional cabinet and counter space, a separate pantry along with French door access onto the rear grilling porch. This is a great space for hosting large groups of family and friends and/or enjoying special family events and occasions. The main level bedroom is spacious with an attached walk-in closet and private access to the full bath and there is an adjacent laundry nook.
The second story staircase meanders onto the loft area where there is an overlook balcony onto the main living spaces below. The loft space is large enough to accommodate additional sleeping space for guests and family alike or could function as a second living space. There is attic storage beyond this space and a second bedroom with walk-in closet and a full bath. This Cottage charmer employs characteristic embellishments reminiscent of its styling which provides an inviting exterior and an interior floor plan designed for everyday living or a vacation home.
