About This Plan

Traditional brick ranch style homes are the backbone of American housing with their roots going back to post-World War II when optimism was high, soldiers returned home and the proliferation of automobiles made it feasible to travel great distances back and forth to work. It fell out of favor during the last decades of the 20th century but has now enjoyed a comeback as many generations of Americas realize the benefits associated with the previous “redheaded stepchild” of the home building industry. As Leonardo Da Vinci once said, “simplicity is the ultimate sophistication,” and this is evidenced in this popular ranch style home. This sprawling ranch is approximately 2,500 square feet with three bedrooms, two baths and a two car garage. The covered front porch features an arched entrance and leads to the spacious foyer which houses a coat closet and is open to the formal dining room accented with columns and boasting a 12’ ceiling. The kitchen anchors the dining room and informal breakfast room and features a breakfast bar, two pantries, one of which is a walk-in, and loads of additional counter and cabinet space. The breakfast room sits at the rear of the kitchen and is spacious with a triple bay window making this a bright and airy space perfect for hosting family and friends. The expansive, rear covered porch can be accessed through the breakfast room and provides a comfortable spot to enjoy your morning coffee or have a family meal. Located directly in your sight line as you enter the foyer, is the home’s great room which is an impressive size and features 10’ ceiling heights. The great room is luxuriously appointed with a fabulous fireplace, built-in cabinetry, a media center and features a triple window view of the rear porch and yard. The study is off the great room and accessible through French doors; this private space could additionally function as a fourth bedroom as it has plenty of closet space.
This floor plan features the split bedroom plan which continues to be popular and provides privacy for the master suite. The master suite contains a spacious bedroom with a 10’ box ceiling, built-ins and rear yard views along with private access to the rear covered porch. The master bath also enjoys a large footprint and is highlighted by a whirlpool tub for soaking and relaxing. Additionally, there is a separate shower, dual vanities and a compartmentalized toilet. His and her walk-in closets flank the master bath and provide an abundance of clothing and storage space. Situated on the opposite side of the home are two bedrooms, each with generous closet space and a full bath with dual vanities and linen closet. The two car, side entry garage is oversized and offers plenty of room for vehicles and/or lawn and sports equipment. This ranch home is perfectly designed and affords you and your family all you need for day-to-day living all on one level.
