About This Plan

Nature lover’s paradise is found in this Mountain house plan whether situated on a mountain property lot or a serene lakefront lot. Magnificent outdoor space and panoramic window views are showcased in this home and offer tremendous opportunity to pursue quality time enjoying “Mother Nature” either indoors or out. This worthwhile pursuit can be accomplished on the covered rear porch, the rear deck, the screened porch or from the interior great room. Lovely honey-hued wood beams and railing highlight the exterior along with cedar shakes, plenty of window views and substantial brick pillars and a brick perimeter skirt. The peaked gable provides shelter and architectural interest to the plan while the screened porch features space to enjoy outdoor living at least three seasons of the year. The interior floor plan is highlighted with approximately 3,304 square feet of living with a finished basement that basically mirrors the first floor’s layout. The main floor features front covered entry from the porch through French doors into the home’s foyer. There is a nearby coat closet and a full bath with a vanity, toilet area and a shower; flanking the other side of the foyer is the den/office accessible through French doors and brightly lit from the bay window. The great room is situated at the rear of the space; it is large, measuring in excess of 19’ x 18’, with a warming fireplace, window views and access onto the rear covered porch. From the centrally located porch, an open deck is adjacent on one side and the screened porch on the other. The screened porch wraps around the home and culminates onto a second open space leading to either the garage or step-down staircase and side yard. Open to the great room is the dining space with beautiful window views overlooking the screen porch as well as an access point making dining al fresco effortless and enjoyable. The grand kitchen is highlighted with a peninsula island, plenty of counter and cabinet space as well as a pantry and mudroom access. The mudroom doubles as the laundry room and features garage access for a tidy home environment.

The main level master suite features generous floor space, picturesque window views and private access to the rear deck. His and hers walk-in closets line the hallway to the master bath where dual vanities, a corner garden tub, a separate shower and a private toilet room are found. The terrace level is highlighted with a huge family/recreation room that features slider access onto the covered porch, great window views and there is a walk-in wet bar at the far end of the layout. A spacious sitting room is located off the family room which could be utilized as a third bedroom and there is an attached huge storage room. Bedroom two is comfortably sized with window views and plentiful closet space. Nearby is the shared hall bath that offers vanity space, a toilet area and a shower. In lieu of a second storage room, the mechanical space is close by for the homeowner’s convenience. This Mountain house plan is a wonderful home to enjoy the great outdoors, there’s plenty of space to entertain and enjoy solitude and abundant storage and living space is found throughout.
