What's not included: House plans do not typically include mechanical, plumbing, or truss drawings. Additionally, some jurisdictions require a local architect or engineer to make adjustments to the plan to comply with local building codes. We advise you to check with your local building department regarding codes. For more information, visit the What's Included in Our Plans page.
This quaint Log cabin provides outstanding wilderness lodging for hunting, fishing or enjoying the great outdoors. Although, the primary reasoning behind the use of this rustic lodge may be to enjoy solitude and the great outdoors, there is no compelling reason to spend your time sleeping outdoors or without specific creature comforts. After a day or night outdoors, covered in grime and dirt, this rustic exterior will be a welcome sight to slough off the day’s adventure. The comfortable exterior façade is composed of rough hewn wooden beams which highlight the front gable of the home along with a pier foundation and a step up to the front covered porch. Simple pioneering construction and purposeful living are featured in the 595 square foot home where its 16’ width and 32’ plus depth dimensions make it ideal for a narrow and/or small lot. The front covered porch caters to a comfortable lifestyle enjoying “Mother Nature” before leading to the spacious living area where there is plentiful space to relax, read or enjoy time alone. Rear sleeping quarters provide plenty of privacy and window views onto the side and rear yard. Upstairs, is a storage loft which can be expanded to include additional sleeping space or can be used for storage of outdoor equipment or other gear. Solitude will be enjoyed in the home and provide a necessary retreat from the everyday stressors of life. Although the home is compact, the home’s drawings are fueled by the desire to enjoy a simple lifestyle whether for the day, week or forever in an environment of a sporting lodge.
