What's Included in these plans?

Each plan set is drawn at 1/4" = 1' scale and includes the following drawings:
Artist Rendering: An artist's drawing of the home, usually viewed from the front and general construction notes.
Elevations: Shows the front, sides, and rear, including exterior materials, trim sizes, roof pitches, etc.
Main Floor Plan: Shows placement and dimensions of walls, doors & windows. Includes the location of appliances, plumbing fixtures, beams, ceiling heights, etc.
Second Floor Plan (if any) Shows the second floor in the same detail as the main floor. Includes second floor framing and details.
Foundation Plan: Shows the location of all concrete footings, floor beams, first floor framing, and foundation details. If there is a basement, a basement plan is included which shows all basement details.
Roof Framing: Shows roof outlines, conventional framing/trusses, beams, roof framing details, etc. Details specific details such as fireplaces, stairways, decks, etc. Details are drawn at 1/2" = 1' scale and appear as needed throughout the prints.
Section: Shows a cross-section of the home. Shows support members, exterior and interior materials, insulation, and foundation.
Electrical Plan: A schematic layout of all lighting, switches and electrical outlets.

About This Plan

This Ranch house plan features a comfortable and inviting exterior façade complete with overhead dormers, horizontal siding and a beautifully expansive front covered porch. The front porch is angled, wraps around, is highlighted with open railing and columned beams and features the perfect spot to greet family and friends. The interior floor plan offers approximately 1,634 square feet of living space with three bedrooms and two baths. The two car side loading garage offers good vehicle and storage space for the family’s needs and there is a pedestrian door at the rear of the garage for easy loading and unloading of lawn and sporting equipment. The family laundry room is located on the interior of the home, adjacent to the garage and offers a great environment for maintaining the home’s tidiness. Located directly across from the laundry room is an oversized linen closet or space that could alternatively be used as a pantry. The home’s foundation is currently listed on a crawl space but a slab and basement option are available and there is an image for the alternative basement stair location as well. The main living and dining spaces of the home, including the front foyer, are vaulted which lends an airy and spacious feel to the home. Stepping into the foyer, you are greeted with views into the vaulted great room and dining space; both spaces are large and comfortable, perfect for relaxing with family or entertaining.
