About This Plan

Natural design elements are nicely juxtaposed in this Mountain house plan creating a visually pleasing exterior. A stone chimney rises from the base of the home and through the roofline which in combination with the wood structure exposes functional and practical design elements. Fabulous window inserts culminate into a triangular point creating a focal point that is mimicked and continues onto the outdoor deck where stunning views can definitely be appreciated. The home commands a mountaintop or serene lakefront setting and the 25’ width and 39’ depth are ideal dimensions for a small and/or narrow lot. The interior layout is consistent with the exterior offering stunning and well appointed rooms in the approximate 1,114 square feet of usable living space. The 1.5 storied home incorporates three bedrooms and two bathrooms into the floor plan allowing the home to function either as a vacation or “forever” home. The home features a walk-up to the front entrance and side deck which then expands to wrap around the home beautifully. Entrance into the home showcases a magnificent open space with a greeting foyer, a side staircase and a dramatic two story great room along with a kitchen and casual dining space. The great room measures in excess of 24’x20’, has soaring ceiling heights, a warming fireplace and double access points onto the expansive deck. The floor to ceiling window inserts that open and provide access to the deck are a wonderful way to bring the outdoors in and offer excellent entertaining space. There is a peninsula wraparound bar featuring a multitude of casual dining options and plenty of additional counter and cabinet space within the U-shaped kitchen. The laundry nook is located in the minimal hallway which houses two bedrooms and a bath as well. Both bedrooms offer good floor space, generous closet space and window views. The shared hall bath features an elongated vanity space, a toilet area and a tub/shower combination.
The second story master suite is a gorgeous design with balcony overlooks onto the main living space. The enclosed master bedroom features cathedral ceiling heights, a spacious footprint, double window views and double closets. There is an en suite master bath complete with an extended vanity, a toilet area and a shower. Plentiful attic storage space flanks the master bedroom providing storage for seasonal clothing and other items. A bold and striking exterior façade and an interior floor plan featuring a fully functional layout and an expandable lower level combine to create this lovely Mountain home.
