This Country home has amazing curb appeal and a “first in class” interior floor plan design. The home has Craftsman features such as exposed rafters, stacked stone columned beams and a broad, covered front porch. There are five bedrooms, four baths in the approximate 3,500 square feet of living space along with a two car, side entry garage and an unfinished basement foundation which could greatly increase the home’s square footage. The covered front porch extends the width of the home and is a great space for entertaining or greeting family and friends; it leads into the dramatic two story foyer which houses the side staircase. As you traverse the foyer, you come to the family room which is gorgeously designed with coffered ceilings, a handsome fireplace and arched column accents. This space is open to the formal dining room, with butler’s pantry, and provides an excellent space in which to entertain. The gourmet kitchen is a chef’s delight with a large center island, double ovens, a separate walk-in pantry and is open to the informal breakfast room with rear deck accessibility. The rear two car, side entry garage provides entrance into the home as well as a side yard porch; both entryways lead to the large laundry room for convenience and cleanliness. The master suite is located on the main floor for privacy and features a 16’x18 master bedroom with trey ceiling. The master bath is flanked on both sides by his and her walk-in closets and is highlighted by dual vanities, a separate shower, garden tub and compartmentalized toilet. Open railing overlooks the foyer below and leads to the large loft area with walk-in closet and window seat. This is an excellent space for a playroom, homework station or teen-ager lounge. The second bedroom is spacious with a walk-in closet and private access to the jack and jill bathroom. Bedroom three has a walk-in closet and access to the shared hall bath. There is a fourth bedroom with walk-in closet and private full bath which could also function as a family media room. An enormous attic space is also available upstairs and provides plenty of additional storage space. This home is ideally suited for a large family and offers plenty of space for entertaining, as well as, private family spaces.
