By creating an account on our website, you create a central location to save your favorite plans and searches, eliminate homes that don't fit your needs, opt in to our newsletter which is filled with great tips. This is also the place to access order information. Just click the My Account tab at the top of our website and complete the signup process. Now let's start searching!

2Search Smarter With Filters

The first step to determining the right house plan for you and your family is to know the dimensions and details of the land you plan to build on. The lot determines a great deal about a home so keep the location in mind as you begin searching.

Our Search process begins with square feet. Consider how big of a home you need now and in the future. Is your family going to grow? Will you need an in-law suite? More importantly, determine how much home you can afford to build and maintain. The same questions can answer how many bedrooms and bathrooms you may need in your new home. Once you determine the range you are looking for, enter those numbers into our Search bar and hit the big, red Search button.

To get more in depth, click the More button next to the Search option and you will display a long list of features from how many garage bays to the architectural style you love. Click the options you'd most like to see in your dream home and depending on how many house plans fit that criteria, you may need to eliminate some options. If zero options appear, decrease the criteria to include other homes.

Once you have search results that best fit your needs, save this search by giving it a nickname. For example, if you love 1 story Bungalow homes between 1,000-3,000 sq. ft., you can save those search results with the name “Our Favorite Bungalows” and return to these search results whenever you want.

3Save and Rule Out House Plans

By creating an account, you can save your favorite house plans and rule out the ones that don't fit your needs. When you find a home that you want to save, simply click the Favoritr button and a drop-down menu will appear. You can rate the home between 1-3 hearts, add a note, and keep this home on your favorites list to view at a later time.

You can also do the opposite by eliminating specific plans that don't quite fit what you're looking for so you no longer see them in your search results. Next to the Favorite button, you'll find the option to Rule Out a particular house plan. This feature can be just as helpful as the saving option.
