What's not included: House plans do not typically include mechanical, plumbing, or truss drawings. Additionally, some jurisdictions require a local architect or engineer to make adjustments to the plan to comply with local building codes. We advise you to check with your local building department regarding codes. For more information, visit the What's Included in Our Plans page.
This traditional house has lovely design features and a fabulous front covered porch entrance. The varied use of window detailing throughout the home gives the home a bright and airy feel and allows the homeowner to take full advantage of wonderful outdoor views. The “Southern Living” style covered front porch is gorgeous and inviting with column beams, a slate floor, French door accent and wainscoting. Window dormers and the courtyard garage give the exterior facade a tidy and classic appearance. There are three bedrooms and three plus bathrooms in approximately 2,800 square feet of living space and the daylight basement is perfect for future expansion. The basement level has in excess of 1,800 square feet and contains plenty of room for additional bedrooms, bathrooms, a recreation room or multi-purpose family room, optional storage space and access to the terrace level patio. The spacious foyer is open to the formal living room which provides French door access to the front porch. The oversized great room has a stately fireplace, built-in cabinetry and French door access to the rear yard. A gourmet kitchen has a center island cook top, a huge pantry and plenty of additional counter and cabinet space. The kitchen is open to the informal breakfast room which is surrounded on three sides with wonderful window views. The family utility room is situated off the garage and has a sink area and plenty of counter space. Double staircases lead upstairs and down; one set is off the great room, the other is adjacent to the laundry room.
