About This Plan

Supreme green, passive solar and the Energy Star rating, the trusted symbol for energy efficiency which reduce costs and protects the environment through energy-efficient products and practices, are all assigned to this gorgeous 1.5 storied home. The substantial exterior is highlighted by bold architectural features and a stacked stone columned beam entrance into the home. The home’s interior has approximately 2,961 square feet of living space which incorporates five bedrooms and three baths into the floor plan. A three car garage adds an additional 1,268 square feet of space; this is an enormous space in which to store vehicles and/or other gear. This passive-solar home greets you through a covered porch into a spacious two-story entry. A 14’ high barreled vault ceiling runs from the entry to the covered patio. To one side are 12’ high ceilings over the great room and study; to the other side are 10’ ceilings over the kitchen and dining area. The large study is situated at the front of the home for privacy and convenience. There is a spacious coat closet off the foyer and guest quarters; this space includes a large bedroom with ample closet space and access to the adjacent full bath. The open concept design opens onto a large living room with corner fireplace and an entire wall of windows. The dining space features rear patio access which is large and comfortable for entertaining family and friends. The family friendly kitchen houses a large breakfast bar, an oversized walk-in pantry and a plethora of additional counter and cabinet space. To the rear of the kitchen, is an oversized laundry room with a sink area, a closet and enough space at 13’x10’ to accommodate sewing or hobby materials. The main level master suite sits at the rear of the home for privacy and features a large bedroom with an oversized master walk-in closet and accessibility to the outdoor patio. An elegant master bath is highlighted by dual vanities, a separate shower, garden tub and a private toilet area.
The second level landing features a large loft area; this space measures 22’x14’ and would be ideal as a multi-purpose family room. Three equally sized bedrooms are on the second floor and each contains great window views and ample closet space. There is a shared hall bath which features double vanities, a private toilet area, separate shower and a soaking tub. This space is ideal for guests or a large family which values their separation of space. The home was built with a 4-zone, radiant floor heating /cooling system on the lower level and a forced-air, fan-coil, heating/cooling system for the upper level with energy recovery ventilation. This plan comes with a 72-page Conservation Guide which gives you or your builder the information needed to build a national energy value and green building awarded home.
