About This Plan

This adorable Country Log framed home hits all the marks of design function and form. The front covered porch spans the width of the home and there are exposed rafters overhead and open railing and wood beams outline the porch. The single story home features two bedrooms in 443 square feet of living space and the home’s dimensions, 24’ width and 18’ depth respectively, are perfectly suited for a narrow and/or small property lot. This is a great home for enjoying the great outdoors whether it is used for hunting, fishing and/or hiking with a group of like minded buddies for a weekend getaway. Conversely, the home could be utilized as a bunk house for a small family who prefers to sleep indoors while camping, hiking and, in general, taking advantage of all “Mother Nature” has to offer. Entrance into the home off the front covered porch leads to the oversized living area, measuring in excess of 23’x9’; this is an open space which could function as any number of living and dining spaces and is perfect for a large number of family members or friends.
Two rear bedrooms, each of equivalent size; 10’ plus x 8’ and having generous closet space and rear window views occupy the second half of the home. This is a great set-up for numerous sleeping arrangements whether bunk beds, twin/double beds or futons are utilized and the closet space is an added bonus. Semi-roughing it, a choice of sleeping indoors or out, a warm and cozy environment for inclement weather while enjoying rustic scenery; whatever, the choice, this home perfectly coincides and provides a plethora of ways to enjoy the great outdoors in style.
