About This Plan

This 1.5 storied Log Cabin house plan features simple exterior construction and a floor plan that is open and comfortable for entertaining and family living. The façade of the home is highlighted with an inviting exterior consisting of a corner-to-corner expansive front covered porch, wonderful window views and a gently sloping roofline with a porch overhang. The front walk-up staircase is the perfect accompaniment to the large gathering porch where family and friends can be promptly greeted and relaxing can be thoroughly enjoyed at any time. The interior layout features approximately 1,769 square feet of living space with includes four bedrooms, two plus baths and an overhead loft. With its relatively small and narrow footprint, 45’ depth and 44’ in width, this house plan would be perfect for a vacation home or a permanent residence requiring lot restrictions. From the front covered porch, access into the home reveals the open floor plan. There is a large great room with soaring ceiling heights, a large window view overlooking the front porch and a warming fireplace for chilly mornings and nights. The subsequent dining room is spacious and features a lovely window view as well. An adjacent kitchen is highlighted with a peninsula bar for additional seating arrangements, double sink window views and plenty of counter and cabinet space. The rear grilling porch is perfect for outdoor cook-outs, relaxing and good “old fashioned” family fun.

The master suite is located on the main floor and features a large bedroom with an attached master walk-in closet. There is a private entrance, as well as a private water closet, into the main living floor bathroom. Additionally, a second toilet area, tub/shower combination and the washer/dryer nook is included. The second bedroom is quite large with double window views, wall-to-wall closet space and is also situated on the main living floor. The staircase to the second floor empties into the overhead loft space where overviews onto the common rooms below are located. The loft is ideal as a children’s playroom, homework station or teenage lounge. Two additional bedrooms are found upstairs, the third bedroom is spacious with window views and plentiful closet space. Bedroom four is the smaller of the two but offers an oversized walk-in closet. The shared bath includes a vanity space, a toilet area and a tub/shower combination. This lovely Log cabin house design features great outdoor space, an efficient and versatile family layout and can be expanded with the optional basement foundation.
