What's not included: House plans do not typically include mechanical, plumbing, or truss drawings. Additionally, some jurisdictions require a local architect or engineer to make adjustments to the plan to comply with local building codes. We advise you to check with your local building department regarding codes. For more information, visit the What's Included in Our Plans page.
This beautifully designed Mountain Rustic house plan is highlighted with multi-hued greys of stone and wood. Dormer and window sheds highlight the upper portion of the roof line and the curved stacked stone chimney substantially adds to the charm and character of the home’s exterior. A generously sized front covered porch is highlighted with stone pillars and large wooden beams; a perfect gathering spot to greet family and friends. Approximately 3,268 square feet of living space occupies the interior footprint of the home and allows for gracious living, dining, and private sleeping quarters. Two floors, three bedrooms, and two plus bathrooms make this an ideal home for families.
The front foyer entry opens onto the large floorplan which spans the width of the home with common spaces for family and friends. The great room features window seats, a centrally located fireplace, and a double set of French doors which open onto the rear outdoor space. There is a covered porch, measuring 22’ x 12’ which then leads to an open patio; this is great space for hosting outdoor events, dining al fresco or relaxing with family and friends. The dining room is accessible from the double set of doors off the patio and is bright and airy with surrounding window views. Located between the dining and great room is the kitchen which features a large center island with loads of additional seating space, a wrap around peninsula bar, and plenty of additional counter and cabinet space. A laundry room, coat closet, and guest powder room complete the remainder of the space before accessing the elongated hallway to the master suite retreat. A spacious bedroom with window views, a large walk-in closet and an elegant bathroom with double vanities, an enclosed toilet room, garden tub, and a separate shower are found in the privately located master suite.
The upper level of the home features two secondary bedrooms; both of which are quite spacious, brightly lit and feature good closet space. A Jack and Jill bathroom is situated between the two bedrooms and features plenty of counter space, a toilet area, and a tub/shower combination. The remainder of the second floor houses a large vista/recreation room which measures 17’ x 21 and is highlighted with an overhead cupola. This room could function as a home office, an artist’s studio, a lounge for older children or a playroom for younger children. Magnificent exterior features, excellent outdoor space, and a functional and practical floor plan are all found in this Mountain Rustic design.
