In general, each house plan set includes floor plans at 1/4" scale with a door and window schedule. Floor plans are typically drawn with 4" exterior walls. However, details/sections for both 2"x4" and 2"x6" wall framing may also be included as part of the plans, or purchased separately.
Foundation Plan and Details
Each house plan set includes one foundation type.
Additional foundation types may be available for a given house plan, and these options can be viewed on each plan's detail page.
Foundation types typically offered: (each type may or may not be available for a given design)
-Slab: Most of our plans reflect a "raised slab" which consists of a chainwall perimeter filled with compacted fill and a reinforced slab poured on top. No accessible space exists underneath slab construction.
-Crawlspace: Crawlspace is a type of foundation which includes an accessible space with limited headroom, typically between the soil and the bottom of the first floor of a home. Crawlspace construction is predominant in areas where there is heavy clay content in the soil, where the home owner needs additional under-home storage space, or the homeowner needs access to pipes, wiring, etc. under the floor of the home.
-Basement: Basement is a type of foundation which includes an accessible space between the soil and the bottom of the first floor of a home. It usually has more headroom than a Crawlspace. Basement foundation construction is predominant in cold climates where the foundation needs to be situated below the frost level.

About This Plan

Craftsman house plans – iconic, ever popular and a mainstay in America’s building and design industries have come to enjoy a particular place in our society. This home proves to be no exception with its warm and inviting exterior and comfortable interior floor plan. Conventional exterior elements which include board and batten, exposed rafters, tapered beams resting atop brick pillars and a front covered porch trim the façade beautifully. The interior floor space features approximately 1,940 square feet of living space and incorporates three bedrooms, two baths and additional bonus space, measuring in excess of 14’x22’. The bonus room is situated on the second floor and could be utilized as a home office, playroom for the children or as a hobby/craft room. The home’s drawings were also developed to include a basement foundation which could further solidify the home’s expansion possibilities. The main floor of the home is accessed from the huge front covered porch and leads to the front foyer with access into the flex space which offers great space for a formal dining room or study. Beyond the foyer is the enormous great room where a trey ceiling, handsome fireplace and picturesque window views define the space. There is a gourmet kitchen with an angled breakfast bar, a separate pantry and a plethora of counter/cabinet space that open onto the sun drenched breakfast room. The breakfast room features access onto the rear covered porch and subsequent patio. The two car garage features additional storage space and conveniently leads to the family laundry room, half bath and both the upper and lower level staircases.
The split bedroom plan offers two spacious bedrooms with generous closet space and a shared hall bath with an extended vanity, tub/shower combination, an enclosed linen closet and double linen hall closets. The master suite is situated at the opposite far end of the home for privacy and features elegantly appointed rooms. There is a large trey ceiling bedroom and an en suite bath offering excellent floor space and modern amenities lining the space. There are dual vanities, double linen closets, a jetted tub, separate shower and a compartmentalized toilet area. His and her walk-in closets are expansive and are situated on either end of the master bath. Great design detailing highlights the exterior while a comfortable floor plan with future expansion options line the interior of the home.
