What's Included in these plans?

    Slab on Grade: Most of these designers plans are designed with a raised slab to reduce heat loss and give owners the best option for radiant floor heating.
    Crawl Space:  Type of foundation can be viewed on each plan's detail page.
    Basement:  Our basement is indicated as lower level floor plan and detailed appropriately.
    Floor plans are drawn at ¼" scale and incorporate 24" module framing for material conservation.
    Exterior walls are drawn as 2' x 6' framing with optional insulation detail provided in our Conservation Guide included with all plans.
    House plans include a roof framing and drainage sheet and truss profiles where appropriate.
    Each house plan includes four sides, elevations as well as any special exterior details.
    Showing interior framing i.e. stairs, structural beams, joists, rafters, truss, and interior elevations.
    In general, each house plan set includes an electrical plan showing lights, fans, switches, special receptacles, and mechanical equipment locations.
    Includes energy recovery ventilation design (optional air-to-air heat exchanger).  Where applicable: radiant floor heating layout, solar air distribution system, night flush economizer system, and location of mechanical appliances.

About This Plan

The energy-efficient shape and use of space with this passive-solar home provides outstanding value and comfort. Clean lines, an expansive front covered porch with open railing and supporting columns accentuate the lovely exterior façade. Supreme green and passive solar designs accompany the Energy Star rating; the trusted symbol for energy efficiency helping reduce costs and protect the environment through energy-efficient products and practices. The 1,600 square foot floor plan features three bedrooms and two baths in the Ranch style home. An additional 440 square feet are provided in the two car garage. Entrance off the covered porch is through the solarium, a beautiful space in which to greet family and friends. The open concept design opens onto the spacious dining room and adjoining great room with its 10’ ceiling accentuated by double sided arches transitioning to the radius wall in the living room. Great living and casual dining space are evident and include an angled kitchen bar, a plethora of modern amenities and access to the rear patio. The split bedroom plan features two spacious family style bedrooms on one side of the home; each contains generous closet space and a shared hall bath. The master suite is elegantly designed and features spacious sleeping space and an adjoining study or sitting room. An oversized walk-in master closet and private full bath completes the master suite. This functional and comfortable home design supports total wheelchair accessibility per the absence of steps or staircases.
