What's Included in these plans?

  • FOUNDATION
    Slab on Grade: Most of these designers plans are designed with a raised slab to reduce heat loss and give owners the best option for radiant floor heating.
    Crawl Space:  Type of foundation can be viewed on each plan's detail page.
    Basement:  Our basement is indicated as lower level floor plan and detailed appropriately.
  • FLOOR PLAN(S)
    Floor plans are drawn at ¼" scale and incorporate 24" module framing for material conservation.
    Exterior walls are drawn as 2' x 6' framing with optional insulation detail provided in our Conservation Guide included with all plans.
  • ROOF PLAN
    House plans include a roof framing and drainage sheet and truss profiles where appropriate.
  • EXTERIOR ELEVATIONS
    Each house plan includes four sides, elevations as well as any special exterior details.
  • SECTION VIEWS
    Showing interior framing i.e. stairs, structural beams, joists, rafters, truss, and interior elevations.
  • ELECTRICAL PLAN
    In general, each house plan set includes an electrical plan showing lights, fans, switches, special receptacles, and mechanical equipment locations.

About This Plan

This supreme green, passive solar house design includes the Energy Star rating; a trusted symbol of enhanced energy efficiency helping to reduce costs and protect the environment. The ES rating provides assistance to consumers helping to identify and purchase energy efficient products that offer savings on energy without sacrificing performance, features and comfort. This Green house design contains approximately 1,958 square feet of living space and offers three bedrooms and two plus baths. The attached two car garage provides an abundance of space including a large workshop in its 641 square feet of space. Entrance into the two storied home, is through the solarium which includes plant shelves designed to highlight the interior garden space. The subsequent recreation room measures 12’x20’, is great space for entertaining, game night or watching movies and features access to the outdoors. Two family style bedrooms are situated on this floor and features spacious rooms with ample closet space and a shared bath and linen closet. The oversized interior laundry room is situated off the garage for ease and convenience.
This reverse living design is highlighted by an additional bedroom and the common living spaces on the second floor of the home. The floor plan is a very contemporary, open design which allows for generous private space and exemplary entertaining and/or family space. The 12’ ceilings in the living room give the room an open feel and there is an entertainment niche as well. The rear dining space provides accessibility to the outdoor patio deck which would be the ideal spot to dine al fresco. The adjacent gourmet kitchen features an angled bar, a separate pantry and plenty of additional counter and cabinet space. There is a half bath before ascending a small staircase to the master bedroom suite and accompanying study. The 9’x9’ study could function as a home office or private sitting room. The master bedroom is a generous space which is flanked by double walk-in master closets.
