What's Included in these plans?

    Slab on Grade: Most of these designers plans are designed with a raised slab to reduce heat loss and give owners the best option for radiant floor heating.
    Crawl Space:  Type of foundation can be viewed on each plan's detail page.
    Basement:  Our basement is indicated as lower level floor plan and detailed appropriately.
    Floor plans are drawn at ¼" scale and incorporate 24" module framing for material conservation.
    Exterior walls are drawn as 2' x 6' framing with optional insulation detail provided in our Conservation Guide included with all plans.
    House plans include a roof framing and drainage sheet and truss profiles where appropriate.
    Each house plan includes four sides, elevations as well as any special exterior details.
    Showing interior framing i.e. stairs, structural beams, joists, rafters, truss, and interior elevations.
    In general, each house plan set includes an electrical plan showing lights, fans, switches, special receptacles, and mechanical equipment locations.
    Includes energy recovery ventilation design (optional air-to-air heat exchanger).  Where applicable: radiant floor heating layout, solar air distribution system, night flush economizer system, and location of mechanical appliances.

About This Plan

This supreme green, passive solar one story house design includes the Energy Star rating; a trusted symbol of enhanced energy efficiency helping to reduce costs and protect the environment. The ES rating provides assistance to consumers helping to identify and purchase energy efficient products that offer savings on energy without sacrificing performance, features and comfort. There are approximately 2,316 square feet of living space with a flexible floor plan and the three car garage includes an additional 748 square feet including a workshop with radiant floor heating for comfort. The covered porch frames the front of the home allowing for great entertaining space and an inviting presence into the home. The open concept floor plan is evident upon entering the home where an arched ceiling accentuates the view ahead. Spectacular views abound from almost any point in the home with its use of window panels and allows for increased energy efficiency.
