What's Included in these plans?

  • FOUNDATION
    Slab on Grade: Most of these designers plans are designed with a raised slab to reduce heat loss and give owners the best option for radiant floor heating.
    Crawl Space:  Type of foundation can be viewed on each plan's detail page.
    Basement:  Our basement is indicated as lower level floor plan and detailed appropriately.
  • FLOOR PLAN(S)
    Floor plans are drawn at ¼" scale and incorporate 24" module framing for material conservation.
    Exterior walls are drawn as 2' x 6' framing with optional insulation detail provided in our Conservation Guide included with all plans.
  • ROOF PLAN
    House plans include a roof framing and drainage sheet and truss profiles where appropriate.
  • EXTERIOR ELEVATIONS
    Each house plan includes four sides, elevations as well as any special exterior details.
  • SECTION VIEWS

About This Plan

This passive solar, supreme green home has an outstanding exterior façade and a striking interior floor plan. The home also carries the Energy Star rating indicating reduced costs and environment protection status resulting in assistance to consumers helping to identify and purchase energy efficient products that offer savings on energy without sacrificing performance, features and comfort. The 1.5 story home has approximately 2,952 square feet of living space and includes three bedrooms and three plus baths. There is a three car garage which contains an additional 978 square feet and rear workshop space. The covered entry leads to a spacious foyer and subsequent open floor plan. The great room features 17’ ceilings and the south wall glass is two stories high with the upper window solar gain controlled by a 3’ roof overhand. Additionally, the lower windows have shades that close from top to bottom and there is a propane fireplace. The dining room and kitchen is highlighted by family style dining and includes a breakfast bar, an oversized walk-in pantry and plenty of additional counter and cabinet space. An adjacent family room and screened porch provides space and opportunity to relax and “hang out” as a family. The breakfast nook features a triple bay window and outdoor patio deck envelops the space. The main level master suite is gorgeous with French door access into the spacious bedroom and there is an enormous master walk-in closet. The luxury continues into the master bath which features dual vanities, a separate shower, garden tub, linen closet and private toilet. An adjoining den provides comfortable space for a home office, hobby room or sitting room. The laundry room has a sink area and there is a powder room for guests.
The radius staircase overlooks the living and dining space below and offers additional sleeping and relaxing space at the top of the staircase.
