What's Included in these plans?

Each plan set is drawn at 1/4" = 1' scale and includes the following drawings:
Artist Rendering: An artist's drawing of the home, usually viewed from the front and general construction notes.
Elevations: Shows the front, sides, and rear, including exterior materials, trim sizes, roof pitches, etc.
Main Floor Plan: Shows placement and dimensions of walls, doors & windows. Includes the location of appliances, plumbing fixtures, beams, ceiling heights, etc.
Second Floor Plan (if any) Shows the second floor in the same detail as the main floor. Includes second floor framing and details.
Foundation Plan: Shows the location of all concrete footings, floor beams, first floor framing, and foundation details. If there is a basement, a basement plan is included which shows all basement details.
Roof Framing: Shows roof outlines, conventional framing/trusses, beams, roof framing details, etc. Details specific details such as fireplaces, stairways, decks, etc. Details are drawn at 1/2" = 1' scale and appear as needed throughout the prints.
Section: Shows a cross-section of the home. Shows support members, exterior and interior materials, insulation, and foundation.
Electrical Plan: A schematic layout of all lighting, switches and electrical outlets.

About This Plan

Floor to ceiling window views are the pièce de résistance of this Cabin home and offer outstanding views whether looking upon a gentle lakefront view or commanding mountaintop view. The front triangulated deck features great entertaining space and relaxing private space where star gazing and enjoying “Mother Nature” takes center stage. Rough hewn timber logs and an overall rustic charm surround the home with character and appeal. There are well organized spaces in the 1,216 square feet of living space where two bedrooms and two bathrooms are highlighted along with additional flex spaces. This home is ideally suited as a vacation or small family home and the 40’width and 27’depth dimensions make it appropriate for a small or narrow lot. There is an oversized living room, measuring in excess of 16’x21’, which offers a corner warming fireplace and a massive amount of space in which to host guests or family. A peninsula breakfast/eating bar is featured in the U-shaped kitchen where additional counter and cabinet space and a bevy of modern amenities are offered along the rear and side walls. There is a large laundry room with counter and sink space and a second story staircase at the rear of the home.
