HOUSE PLAN MODIFICATIONS

America's Best House Plans offers modification services for EVERY plan on our website making your house plan options endless! Have you found the plan that fits your needs, but need some modifications to the plan to make it the dream home you always wanted? Need to change a house plan from a front entry garage to a side entry garage? Want to change the ceiling heights throughout the floor plan? Want to redesign the kitchen to customize it for your family’s needs? We can make all these changes and much more. If you are interested in making changes please follow these simple steps to get your Free Modification Quote.

HOUSE PLAN MODIFICATION PROCESS

1)

Find the plan that best fits your needs and identify what you would like to change on the plan.

2)

In the next step you will submit your modification request in one of the following ways:

  • Select “Modify this plan” link on the plan detail page. This will take you to a form to be filled out with your explanation of the changes you would like. We also recommend marking up the floor plan and attaching it to the form.
  • You may also contact one of our customer service representatives toll free at 1-888-501-PLAN (7526) to discuss your modifications. We also recommend marking up the floor plan and faxing the changes to us at 678-388-9651.
3)

Once we have your modification request, one of our designers will review your modifications and provide a free quote to make these changes.

4)

If you decide to move forward with the changes, then we will ask you to sign and return the quote to us. At this time, we take full payment of the plan sale and the modifications.

5)

The Designer will contact you with an initial meeting to discuss your project.

6)

Preliminary plans will be emailed to you for approval prior to the house plan being shipped out.

7)

Once you approve of the plans the designer will ship out the plans to be delivered.

8)

You receive your customized plans drawn just for you!


Please see the sample modifications below as an example of our modification services. Keep in mind that we offer modification services for simple changes as well as large complex changes.

Floor Plan Modification Example: Plan 009-00072

Modification Description:

• Extend garage to make it a 3 car garage
• Extend bedroom 2 so that it is aligned with the rear of the home
• While extending bedroom 2, this allowed more room in the laundry room
• Modify kitchen cabinets and remove island

Elevation Modification Example: Plan 1637-00084

Have you found the perfect floor plan layout, but the elevation doesn't fit the look and feel that you are going for? As you see above, we can modify any of our elevations to fit any architectural style you are looking to achieve. The modification above originated from house plan 1637-00084, which was originally considered a European, Tudor style house plan. It was converted to fit the country, farmhouse style home design that the customer was trying to accomplish.
