House Plan Modifications
America's Best House Plans offers modification services for EVERY plan on our website! Have you found the plan that fits you and your families needs, but need some modifications to the plan to make it the dream home you always wanted? To submit a modification request please click on the "Modify this Plan" button available on every plan detail page and fill out the short form. To get a better idea of exactly what changes you would like, we suggest you print the plan, mark up the changes that you would like and fax them to us at 678-880-7113. Once you have submitted the form to us, then we will provide a quote and timeframe for the modifications within 2-3 business days.
In order to give you an idea of some typical modifications that we make to our plans, we have given some examples below.
Example A: (Example Price $500, pluse the price of the plan)
-Garage was extended to make it a 3 car garage
-Bedroom 2 was extended to be aligned with the rear of the home
-While extending bedroom 2, this allowed for more room for the laundry room and bathroom
-Kitchen cabinets modified with island being removed
Example B:
Changing basement foundation to a crawl foundation. Many of our house plans have foundation choices available which are listed on the plan detail page. If you do not see the foundation that you would like, then please contact us with your request.
Example C:
Another popular option to modifying your plan is a Right Reading Reverse to the plan. This option allows for the plan to be totally flipped with all of the dimensions and text reading correctly. Mirrored reverse are also available, which flips the plan, however the text and dimensions are NOT right reading.
